Every Romano piece is locally made using quality materials and craftsmanship. With proper care your furniture should last for decades.
The following are our specific guarantees on the various components found in our furniture :
FRAME & SPRINGS:
Under conditions of normal usage the frame & spring construction of any Romano product is warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for the life of the product in residential use.
FABRIC:
Romano offers a 1-year limited fabric warranty on fabrics in our fabric collection. This warranty is not applicable to COM fabrics. Romano’s fabric warranty does not cover fabric protectant that is applied by the consumer or retail outlet. Fabric treatments may cause discolouration, break down of the backing, pilling and/or the running of certain dyes. Romano will void the warranty on any piece deemed to have been treated with an after market fabric protectant and cannot accept any claims, adjustments or credits as it pertains to these situations.
SEAT & BACK CUSHIONS:
ROMANO offers a 3-year limited warranty on foam used in seat & back cushions in residential usage. Some softening of polyurethane foam is normal (up to 20%) and should not be considered a defect. 1-year limited warranty on Feather and Fibre components. Fibre-fill will flatten with use and should also not be considered a defect.
WORKMANSHIP:
Romano offers a 1-year warranty on problems deemed to be a manufacturers defect in materials or workmanship, Romano reserves the right to determine if a problem is in fact a manufacturers defect. This warranty is rendered void if the product in question is subject to misuse, alteration, exposure to sunlight, fire, improper cleaning, negligence or public use.
Romano’s obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacing, at the company’s discretion, any part(s) found to be defective in material or workmanship. If necessary to return the product to the factory for repair, the cost of packaging and shipping to and from the factory is not covered by this or any warranty.
LIMITATION OF WARRANTY
All Romano products are hand made to order and as such variations in dimensions, fabric dye-lots, softness of fills, stain colours, fit and finishes are normal and part of the authentic natural beauty and uniqueness of each product we make, and therefore any product or material variation does not constitute a defect. It is not possible for us to guarantee any colour or other type of matching between products.

All information, measurements, configurations, product offerings, etc. contained on this website or other company publications are for reference only and are subject to change without prior notice. If a client has specific encumbrances, requirements or requests, these need to be disclosed to us prior to placing any purchase order; once confirmed, each product is made to order specifically for each client and as such cannot be returned to the manufacturer. All measurements referenced herein are approximate and Romano makes no warranty as to the precision nor accuracy of any referenced dimensions and shall not be held responsible if the furniture does not fit in rooms, through doorways or through stairways etc. Furniture always appears smaller in the store, we urge clients to excersise prudence by measuring all the destination spaces and passages and allowing a sufficiently large margin for manuvering between their physical space and the measurement of their furniture to avoid possible disappointments.
